Africa Tours and Thing to do
Travelling to Africa may sound frightening and spectral but the truth is it is now much easier than before.
It is very hard to choose what nations you want to visit and what type of connection you are looking for? The opportunities are endless.
If you are for things to do in Africa, you must do your research, and find that there are countries you should go and countries you should not go unless you are with a party, or have an in-land contact, or are a very well-seasoned traveler. Most countries you would clash along that see are unharmed and the locals would be friendly with you. Countries in more of the concentrate of the continent in this northern area are such as Egypt and Morocco.
Explore the pyramids and taking a cruise up the Nile River is a bucket-list escapade for good reason. “Egypt is the cradle of civilization. Few knowledge can measure up to the massive scale of the pyramids and the sphinx, Discover the Aswan islands by felucca (traditional sailboat) or privately tour the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, home to artifacts recovered from Tutankhamun’s tomb.” This part of Northern Africa appeals to history buffs and those interested in a cultural journey.
“Egypt is a year-round destination, but the most comfortable temperatures are between October and April,” notes Worth.
Explore the famous spice markets and entrench yourself in Arab culture. “With a history stretching back nearly 10,000 years, the country’s great cities — Marrakech, Tangier, Fez and Rabat — offer a look into ancient traditions,” says Worth.
Morocco offers so many kinds of experiences — I did a camel trek in the Sahara Desert and slept under the stars and had tea with nomadic Berbers to learn about their lifestyle. In Marrakech, known as the Red City, there’s plenty to grab your attention.
A must is the Djemaa el Fna, the largest market in Morocco and the biggest square in Africa,” says Worth. “Make sure to have a walk around the square in the evening when musicians, dancers and storytellers come out.”
