Museums in Tokyo are typically closed on one day of the week ( usually Monday) and during the New Year holidays ( typically December 29 to January 4 orchid plant pots large ). If the regular weekly online closing day falls on a national holiday, most museums will open on the holiday and close the next day instead
Museums need to close at least one day a week for moving around art, cleaning, etc. Weekends are the busiest museum days because they're the only days many people can visit lil peepmerch ... Many museums chose to close to the public on specific weekdays so they can work on exhibits without the public in the building .
I am a Greek archaeology and art history student. Every year, from July until September, every Wednesday, at 10:00 am I organize absolutely FREE (without expecting absolutely any tip) guided tours in one of the most historical and unknown churches of Thessaloniki, the church of St. Athanasius the Great (Egnatias 87 str., city center). I explain the history of the monument, the parts of an orthodox church building, our church art and the various symbolisms. DO NOT MISS THIS CHANCE!
